httpwww.photo.netphoto1664881442 0 Posted June 2, 2007 Shot (handheld) at 6am in winter. This was shot on Agfa APX at 13,400 ASA then pushed like mad in Rodinol. I like the way at first glance it can look as though the print has overlapped separate frames; the sharpness of the 'geometry' was not as apparant to my eye at the time. Thanks for taking the trouble to view my work Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2007 I had a look at this in 'larger' size and the interest and appreciation of this shot goes up with the ability to view it in larger sizes. What an outstanding capture! For me, this is all about the perspectives drawn by the lines all throughout the shot. I love the background of the sky too. the tones are just right.. I really like the light/dark of the geometric forms balanced against the gray of the natural forms of the clouds. Thanks for the wonderful adventure in viewing. Very dynamic, original, and interesting. There is so very much to appreciate here. And all that without having much of an idea about the wet dark rooms, although I have read Lex Jenkins stuff, once in a while. John McLaine has some good 'old school' stuff on his portfolio, also.
