pascalagneray 0 Posted April 23, 2007 Your picture has an amazing level of control with the tones, the light, the contrast. The stones are stupendous and the male subject, well, I wish I had those muscles. The feet being extended is what looks a bit over the top, overly precious maybe otherwise the technique is impressive. I am hetero but i have friends who are not. Link to comment
gerhardt 0 Posted April 23, 2007 First thank you very much for your constructive thoughts. The model is a professional body builder with two titles to his name. The posing I discovered was natural and indicative of the competetions, this point made the model very easy to work with. As for the toe, perhaps it is a bit stylized however it was key to aligning the body with the striations of the rocks ... Best Regards, Gerhardt Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 24, 2007 Beautifully conceived and executed. It's a great setting for a male nude and you've made it lush and sensual. Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted April 24, 2007 Gerhardt, this is a surprising addition to your portfolio. You engaged a good model. I like the rather bold surroundings. However I have some question marks about his expression. From a hunter I would expect either more attention or a more comfortable position for relaxing. Another point is that the legs of the hunter are too short compared to the well developed upper body. Looking forward to seeing this folder growing. Karl Link to comment

klatu 0 Posted May 2, 2007 You are amazing at the figure in the landscape. It fits right in and that is very hard to do. I agree, though with the comment above about the feet being too pointed. The right one especially. Had he moved his foot to the right just inches his foot could point up and followed that dark shape as well. But we are being very picky. Overall a wonderfull image. Thank you for all your wonderful work. Michael. Link to comment
dnf-style 0 Posted May 2, 2007 Yep there it is a double 7. A very good eye fot composition and how the structure of the human equals the rocks. Frenk Link to comment
