luca bertoglio 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Very nice shot, a darken backround would make your shot fantastic? What lens /equipement do you use? Best Regards Luca Link to comment
mike roberts 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Yes, I agree about a dark BG but it couldn't have been achieved with the camera with this situation. I thought about burning it some but didn't want to lose the color. This was shot with a d70 with a 60mm (Nikon) and 2x TC (Tameron) I use an Ikelite housing and strobes Link to comment
brett.tischler 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Good capture and good depth of field. How do you like using the TC setup? Link to comment
mike roberts 0 Posted April 25, 2007 I like the TC but this was my 1st UW use. I usually use it with the 105mm topside but I don't have a port long enuf to take that combo UW. I just realized that the 60mm with the TC fits nicely in the 105 port and allows manual focus. Neat but I gotta get pretty close for full magnification. I would rather have a little more working distance I get with the 105mm but until I can find a port... Link to comment
jeff_kuwabara 0 Posted April 25, 2007 Aloha Mike, Very nice shot. Love the clarity and dof. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get a shot of a relative on a cushion sea star. Congrats! jeff Link to comment
