I like the lighting, space and sense of solitude in this. If I was to be REALLY nitpicky, I think I would have framed it a with the person a little more to the edge of the first horizontal third ... but thats being really nitpicky! Nice job ...

I don't see justification of the over saturated sky's colors on a particular place. Good picture anyway!

superb composition Baerbel. i love how the curve of the shoreline is accentuated by the swirl of magenta in the sky overhead. fantastic tone. moody and introspective work. i really like this one. very nicely done. take care, J.K.

Thank you, J.K. There was a pretty solid cloud cover all afternoon and then - just before sun down - it broke for a little while. The temperature was about 65F and the walker, all bundled up, is obviously a Floridian. A 'northener' would have dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. :)

Now that you've hit your 10th rating I'll post mine to push you over the line. I really like all the colors that you've gotten out of the center horizon area. Do you have this image large enough that you could zoom into that portion for a close up?
