dirk_juergensen 0 Posted April 20, 2007 Kalt, einsam, allein und phantastische Lichtstimmungen - genau so mag ich den Strand. Tolles Bild. Link to comment

sassiekiwi 0 Posted April 20, 2007 I like the lighting, space and sense of solitude in this. If I was to be REALLY nitpicky, I think I would have framed it a with the person a little more to the edge of the first horizontal third ... but thats being really nitpicky! Nice job ... Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted April 22, 2007 I don't see justification of the over saturated sky's colors on a particular place. Good picture anyway! PDE Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted April 22, 2007 Thank you, Sarah, one of these days I will get it just right, I hope. Lots to learn yet. And Pierre, I am so glad you approve ...sort of! :) Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted April 24, 2007 superb composition Baerbel. i love how the curve of the shoreline is accentuated by the swirl of magenta in the sky overhead. fantastic tone. moody and introspective work. i really like this one. very nicely done. take care, J.K. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted April 25, 2007 Thank you, J.K. There was a pretty solid cloud cover all afternoon and then - just before sun down - it broke for a little while. The temperature was about 65F and the walker, all bundled up, is obviously a Floridian. A 'northener' would have dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. :) Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted May 12, 2007 Now that you've hit your 10th rating I'll post mine to push you over the line. I really like all the colors that you've gotten out of the center horizon area. Do you have this image large enough that you could zoom into that portion for a close up? Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted May 12, 2007 Thanks for pushing me over the edge, Shawn. And yes, I may play with this image some more - good suggestion. :) Link to comment
