ldavidson 4 Posted April 19, 2007 Tia is very wiley. She is always sizing up every situation to see what's in it for her. She's thinking, always thinking. When she is wondering what smells delicious she squints her eyes while sniffing the air. Any comments, critiques are welcome. Thanks! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted April 19, 2007 What a cutie! You caught her dignity! I hope her birthday was delightful. I wonder what she wished for? She is going to have to get used to the paparazzi. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 30, 2007 I like the depth of field here, and of course I'm a sucker for dog photos. Two things sort of bother me about this image, though. I'd have to get rid of the bright spot/object in the upper left of the image. As I've often said, I don't use the word "distracting" in photo critique, but the viewer's eye will be drawn to that bright spot every time, rather than immediately focusing on Tia. I can say pretty much the same thing for the fabric on Tia's left side. I'm a bit bothered by the heavy shadow on Tia's left side. You've lost the detail (except for the faint catchlight) in her left eye. As with people, a dog's eyes are the mirror of the soul...I'd like to see more light and detail in the eyes. As I said, I like the d.o.f., but I guess I'd just like to see more detail in Tia. She is definitely a little darling. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks for your critique and helpful advise. I do appreciate that. I will definitly try your sugestions. I agree about dog, and people's eyes being windows of the soul. Thanks again! All the best, Linda Link to comment
