dpurfectlight 0 Posted April 20, 2007 Does the human scale add to the picture? I have other pics without the human element but like to know the pros n cons. Thank you for the comments. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 20, 2007 I think that people give an idea of the size of the rocks but without it would then have been even more abstract. Depends what you wanna show. Nice colours and light. Link to comment
bernie moore 6 Posted April 20, 2007 Drew, I don't think you need the people. The image is totally engaging, and the eye flows gladly about. IMHO the people are like spots on a window. Regards, Bernie Link to comment
zigzag 0 Posted April 20, 2007 People don't work for me in this one. This location has such superb lines and patterns that tell their own stories. Moving to avoid the middleground 'hole' may also be worthwhile, the light entering to brighten up the reds brings out the saturation. Link to comment
hugo_monja 0 Posted April 21, 2007 It looks like you take the picture one hour late, when the sun is not reaching the stone. That makes the picture a bit flatter. You need the saturation that is in the patch of light also in the rest of the picture. Imaging then a vibrant red against a pure blue sky, because I think the clouds make the colours in this case even duller and are distracting. I think the people is ok. Link to comment
