Windy Beach

Last year, at this beach, I made a pretty good photo which is now in

my folder titled "Special Selection" of this photo.net gallery. So, I

visited this location again last week on my way to Cape Meares in

Oregon. The same driftwood I had photographed last year was still

there, but weather was different this time with gusty winds under

stormy sky.

The position of the branch, the angle, the uprooted tree, all details do convey the impression of the wind blowing, Brad. You feel it.

Thank you Paula for your visit and kind words! I think this photo conveys the mood of the chilly, depressing beach pretty well.... but people generally prefer pleasant, uplifting mood....

Good title that conveys the atmospher Brad. the wind is really felt in the BG. and the diagonal of the tree adds to the tension of the image. well observed.
