lonebearimages 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Hey, Dude, where in the bloody hell have you been? Geez, I've missed you a lot! When I was up in Montana in late-July, I actually thought about headin' up your way to make sure that you were still on Planet Earth. I love this image, by the way; so Canadian prairie (well, it could be eastern MT or ND too). Anyway great to hear from you, Clayton! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
clayton_berg 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Hey Chris, sorry to disapear but I guess I had the 'summer doldrums'. I can't stand summer photography. Heat, bugs, sun like a great giant spotlight, no thanks! I love shooting in the winter and fall when there's no bugs, the sun never gets that high in the sky so the light stays nice all day long. Not to mention the sun reflecting off the snow and giving everything that nice warm glow. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted August 24, 2007 You know, you make a great point about the light conditions up in the north country. I do remember that living in MT, you'd go out at 1:00 p.m. and it would feel like 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. I have to come up some time in October and visit you and go find some of the wonderful prairie homestead locales that you're so fond of. Take care, Amigo! I'm off to Joshua Tree NP this weekend. It'll be hotter than the hinges of hell, but always great to shoot in. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
