kiwirob 0 Posted April 17, 2007 I like the idea and the fact you have to give it more than cursory attention to notice everything in there, also the elements making up the shot have a pleasing quality, I'm just sorry to say I don't like them particularly when all put together... there is just too much going on with nothing leading the eye around the shot. Hope that is helpful. Cheers, Rob. Link to comment
vidisorin 0 Posted April 17, 2007 I knew it was yours from the moment I saw it...it's amazing how you can bring the best out of these radical processings ussualy rather kitch...the colours bring a mystical touch to the character..detaching from itself for a introspective contemplation... Best regards Sorin Link to comment

mmene 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Thanks for your comments and ratings. Dear Rob thank you very much. You are maybe right. Sometimes confusion is the reality of somebody's feelings . Dear Sorin your critique is very productive and I appreciate it to much. Unfortunately kitch is all around us in every day's life and I try emphasize on it some times. Link to comment

pepmir 0 Posted April 17, 2007 It is necessary to look at the composition thoroughly, to submerge in it, though it is difficult, but it is good Michael. Regards. Link to comment

adan1 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Intriguing composition and I like the combination of blue and green. You titled this one self critique. Does the figure on the right symbolize the conscience telling the "naked truth"? Maybe I overanalize things but that is what your composition means to me. Great work as always. Link to comment

marleft 0 Posted April 19, 2007 Michael congragulation for the sincerity in your self-critique. After all, we all, men of all ages, have in the back side of our mind, nude women, but we don't express it. So this is a common men self-critique. But don't forget that you made another great photo : "Knocking Heaven's door". YOU NAMED IT SO !! Because this makes me mixed-up, I want another photo by you, with deeper self-critique. Don't hurry, take your time. Marios Leftheriotis Link to comment
