davidorea 1 Posted April 20, 2007 I like this composition, Roger. The branchs' silhouettes, distribution of forms and balance are great. A delight of colors and cloudy atmosphere. Very nice photograph! Regards! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 23, 2007 I like it a lot, too, Roger. The handling of the branches is great. I love the tangle and texture it creates. I think perhaps if you wait a bit until there's more light, you'd get an even more expressive photo, although this one really does have a lot. Of course the monuments really set the stage for the mood and atmosphere. Regarding those, I might consider lowering your camera to take in the bases of the front two monuments, so they are more grounded. I also would consider, although I'd need to see it to be sure, going for a vertical format here, which would allow for an easier inclusion of the full monuments. I know most landscapes are done horizontally, but this might be a reasonable exception. Love to see another attempt. --Fred Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted May 23, 2007 Thanks, Fred. It'll have to wait until the fall. Sunrise is too early for me right now. Link to comment
