Silencing The Feminine Energies

appreciate any creative inputs, be it light or be it dark, one of a series I have planned for a

Walt, this is a very powerful image, using strong symbolism. From a technical point of view, i like the textures and the tones of your image (especially when viewed larger). The veil (or scarf) material on the side of the face adds context an gives a hint on the gender of the subject. The light and gentle vignetting is very effective, one is reminded of a jail or seclusion. From the form point of view the dark areas around the corners of the mouth add a strong symbol of violence. Besides the scarf material and the fact that the subject has no hint of beard stubbs however are the only major hints on the gender of the subject. For all it's worth this could also be a young boy, but it still doesn't take away the message of violent repression of expression. Well done

In this case the digital efect is'nt important as a (perfection),the important thing is the way to show us an important idea and a real problem ,there are millions of womens in the World that no have a human rights.Imho,technically is very well done,the tonal range,light,and composition... my Congratulations for your image
