In the flea market there are also some nice shops that have nice kept and treated stuff. There are many dolls in the market, that life was "cruel " to them like they can be to human.

This Doll, is a very nice old style doll, well treated, and you wonder what is the story of her history....for all of you , I upload her full size just to let you compare it with the dolls of our time.....

You have captured this dole in a very great way, I like the sharpness here and the well saturated colors also

Wishing you all of the best

It's a beautiful doll, Pnina, and I won't mind to be its owner. Very live-like expression & low angle perspective.

Beautiful doll, very well-captured,Pnina. Thanks for sharing the full-size image of the doll. You left us guessing us about the fate of the owner and plight of this abandoned child. I feel she has an old-world simple charm.

Thanks to all of you, I appreciate your connection to this old beauty of a doll.

I will be missing for some days going to the Galilee to photograph,I will visit you when I'm back to see what you did while I was not here....

A very curious perspective on this flea market doll.... has anyone mentioned that the angle you have shot this from, makes this doll appear to be the Madonna (Catholic Mary). Especially with her arm and hand out in that way.. and there is one tiny highlight on her bottom eye lid that appears as though it is a tear. The lacey bit under her hat appears as if it is a veil. Maybe I have a wild imagination (I am not even Catholic!) It is an excellent shot at any rate!

Dear Pnina, I like your dolls series and especially this one which you have manage to catch reinforcing its devine expression. The lace, the bonnet and the eyes make the picture. This specific doll, I'm convinced, is never "owned" by anybody. It lives with you or with somebody else.

Well done. You are in the master class.

She looked so heavenly almost

having a prayer or wishing for

something. Perhaps peace for the

world...

I really like this one, Pnina. And I like the full-length one, too.

At least you don't have to worry about the model blinking when you take these, huh?

Nicely done,

Cheers.
