Just a day out on the beach.

The fence is there to hopefully start the sand to make new sand dunes as this is a place where hurricane IVAN and Dennis tore up everything in its wake. Two years later all that is left is sand and the new fences.

And of course the beauty of a sunset and a storm on the horizon. ENJOY!

did you and Andrew coordinate to shoot b/w for this sunset??? the fence is really nice here as the distance between the pickets appears to close creating more density leaving the frame. great sky. little people are excellent for scale of shot. well done. regards, J.K.

I wasn't sure if I should leave those little people but I was like you leaving them shows how far the beach goes.

AND... nope I have gone nowhere lately as Andrew has not taken me anywhere (insert pout face here). This is an old shot about the same time I did SIDE SWIPE from January 2007 beach sunset time frame.

I just started working on some of these great photo's that I had not worked on yet.

Very nice and cool panorama. The grey tones are very nice and the mood is perfect. Bravo my friend.

Another beautiful composition! And it is not PS'd! yay! It's beautiful! Wonderful lines in this - really strong graphic. I might pump up the light in the sky just a tad to give more contrast but this is gorgeous. I like the little people. (it's kinda like "Where's Waldo")Nice one Micki!

So I had to bump it back down and subdue it.

AND... It was origionally color but just had that B&W feel. If you check out the color version of its sister pic where I linked one to JK you can see the big cloud. :)
