e-bob 0 Posted May 1, 2007 This fantastic plant is a ten foot tall, many branched specimen of Mullein, growing near Newburg, Wisconsin, USA in 2005. It was hard to find a way to capture the huge size and amazing shape of this pant, until I lay down beneath it and saw it against the sky. Let me know what you think, and tell me if you have any of your own pictures of Mullein. Thank You! Link to comment
michael_r_riley 7 Posted May 2, 2007 Interesting composition and nice color contrast. Its a shame that the straighter part of the plant coming in from the bottom right intrudes upon the nice curves of the rest of the composition. Any chance of an angle that maintains the curvy part and excludes the straight parts? I know this can be tough. Sometimes ya just gotta take what nature offers but if you can do it (even have someone pull it aside if it can be done without hurting either the plant or the assistant) I'd reshoot this.
