Many of my abstracts are very bright and colorful. This one really relaxes me and I am thinking of printing it and putting it on the wall I face when I spend so many hours on the computer. It may not be everyone's 'cup of tea' but I like it and hope you do also.

Colors are serene, the droplet draws you in. Hypnotic, ... your signature.. not so.

I love the simplicity and the colors. If I were you, I would save with custom size above 1000 x 1000 so that the resolution is better and i would put my signature outside the frame or smaller. Otherwise, it's really nice, the blue tones are perfect.

Tony Tony Tony.... Oh my goodness Tony... What can I say about this one?!?!? I want to hang it everywhere! It's absolutely stunning!!! Really and truly it is! I think this is my favourite abstract at photo.net. Is there a 10/10??? 100/100?!?!?! How much for it Tony?!?!? Just... stunning!!!

Angela

PS - did I mention that I love it? ;)

My humble thanks to everyone who commented and rated this one so very positively. I am nodding off but I do plan to visit your sites and check out your portfolio after I get some sleep. Points re signature and resolution have been noted. Thanks again.

I agree with Angela on this one Tony

I love your Abstracts, but this one is the best I've seen.

This should be hanging on a wall somewhere.

What can I say except many thanks for comments and ratings. Unlikely That I can be on PN for a good period until Monday. Heavy snow forecast for Monday in my area but we know it won't stick around too long because the real Spring can't be too far off.

PS I have always been putting my signature on the images I submitted to PN but this time it has peaked a couple of comments.

Tony, you are correct, it's very calming/soothing and one of your best...I wouldn't mind having it on my wall too. How did you do it? Great job...John

Bright & colourful are also my cup of tea. Very beautiful abstract, Tony, and I love the colours.

Tony: I'm so glad that you stopped by to visit and comment on my portfolio. I appreciate your suggestion about sharpening after reducing the size, a process which I applied to my most recent flower photo,"Tears." Your comments led me to your portofolio which made a powerful impression on me because you have been able to create and capture the images which I have only visualized in my mind and heart. From fractals to landscapes, you have perfected the process. This particular image is expecially beautiful; your name is an important part of this image...it is your creation. Thank you for sharing your autobiography with us on PN. I have yet to come up with something concise. I am a new photographer (less than one year) but always a bit on the creative side. Also, I too am recovering from an illness which has restricted my activities; photography and digital art have been an essential part of my healing. Blessings, Rebekah

Thank you for the time that you have spared to write this note - I am humbled. Both sickness and better photographers on PN have inspired and motivated me to try and do better - it almost addictive. I still have areas like Macro and portrait work that I would like to explore but I am hampered by lack of proper equipment to do the kind of justice I see here on PN. I wish a speedy recovery for both of us. And yes, photography was and still is therapeutic for me.

Happy shooting,

Much "quieter" than your other abstracts ... perhaps you were in a contemplative mood that day !! But ALSO more disturbing. I have to sit back and try to take it in. I get 2 distinct impressions ...

first, I'm on the outside looking in, like a vortex - calm and soothing. Second, more unsettling .... like I'm being "watched". In both of the perspectives, there's a hypnotic allure. The colors also leave me feeling warm one minute, freezing the next.

Dare I ask .... what are YOUR thoughts on this one, Tony?? What went through your mind as you were "creating" this one ??

Mixed emotions here ... don't know how I feel about this one! Might need a second contemplative look ....

Just when I was considering deleting most of my abstract images you pop up and comment on an 'oldie'. Thanks very much for comment and rating, Best Regards,
