mvisionphotography 1 Posted April 13, 2007 Just waiting for it to get warm enough to go swimming... soon, very soon! Now the question is can a sunset be as beautiful in B&W? What do you think? Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted April 13, 2007 It's like a big bright star! I love how the rays create a composition of their own. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted April 13, 2007 I might work on it some more with a different effect. I am trying to go for that old nostaligic feel of the old times. I don't think I captured it just right yet. What I really needed was a person in the picture. Maybe I will go back when it is warmer and get some photo's. BUT... I do have LOTS more of these I can turn into B&W so I can play some more. Link to comment
torfinn 0 Posted April 13, 2007 I like it as is, but maybe it would be better with a person in it. A very nice composition though. Have a great day! Best regards, Torfinn. Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Ay, como bello sol! Perhaps I should use the english language... Wow, that is definitely one of the very best captures of sun, in B&W version, that I`ve ever seen. When you say, that there should be soon enough warm to get to swim, what do you mean by that? I mean, how much is enough that people usually go swimming to lakes or to the sea? In here, we had an unusually warm autumn (aprox. +20 - +22 degrees celsius) and we got to the lake even at mid september, which is not at all common in here. Usually, at that time, we should have had temperatures like +10 - +15 degrees celcius. Now, the lakes are slowly losing their ice cover and the temperatures are about +5 - +10 C. Some people use to swim all through the winter, but not everyone. :-) So, you got throuhg the horse-series... ;-D Actually, I have about 50 images from them... Those were propably the best ones... Perhaps I will send some more, in the days to come... Oh, I responded to you, to the snow boarder image. :-) Joyful waitings for the summer! Alpo Link to comment
