djcinsb 0 Posted April 12, 2007 This is a very nice photo, but I find it marred by the background. If you had the opportunity to take it again, I'd suggest not having the person in the background, and playing around with depth of field to make the background much less sharp. Just a few suggestions! Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Paula, I know it's not easy to let the peacock spread its feather this way and I believe it is harder even to suggest what BG you prefer. :0) You just got the luck and perfect timing dear Paula. Look at him, So Proud and beautiful. Cheers!! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Thanks! We had to wait for half an hour for him to spread his tail, and then it turned round and round, slowly, to show us it in all its bauty. This was taken in the park of Villa Borromeo in Lake Maggiore. Hard to find a different background because the peacocks live there and to have only one person behind was pure luck: all people ran in front to see him ( we didn't know he'd turn to show off in all directions).Anyway, I had never seen a white peacock before and find the plumage incredible. I wish I could isolate him. Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted April 12, 2007 I adore your immense sense for beauty ... (The stencil for the craftmans passport photo is a bit distracting.) Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 19, 2007 This is very beautiful and very well exposed with very impressive colors and sharpness. I have seen them in a zoo in Pattaya last year an I was very much impressed with these lovely looking birds. You did a great job here and I wish you all of the best my friend Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted April 19, 2007 What a wonderful display you captured! I did not know there were white ones either. The feathers remind me of sparklers. I'm wondering if we will see any of these peacock feathers in future creations of yours? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 24, 2008 This must have been quite a thrill when the peacock opened its feathers! What a beautiful sight to see. Your patience and camera ready paid off. I viewed many of your photos. You are most creative! The colors are vivid and beatiful in your photos. I hope to learn much from good photographers in PN like you. Link to comment
