cherlyn 1 Posted April 12, 2007 the Canyon village is little visited, primarily because communications here are bad out here in Sahara, next to the Algerian border. The village of Mides is looking over a small, but dramatic canyon, that is distinct with its round shapes, and strong contrasts in colour. The village is no more than a handful of white houses. The settlement is quite new, as the original Mides was destroyed in 1969, when it rained for 22 days. Link to comment

joe-tury 0 Posted April 12, 2007 What a beautiful area. I like how the "V" of the sky ends at the falls. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Wonderful color & great composition. I like the wedge of sky and the deep central green area. Probably not a difficult place to photograph, but it still takes someone with your ability to get it exactly right. Link to comment
