Kenneth's image of such a beautiful meadow indeed invokes a sense of tranquility and peace. The broad space gives a sense of exultation and the analogous color scheme displaying different tones of green with the azure sky in sight all combine into a very harmonic atmosphere that can spirit up the viewer.

The area composition is a classic realism in the visual regime aiming at painting a graceful reality of putting the viewer in such a moment. The landscape is shot under the open sky but due to density of the vegetation, fortunately, there is no harsh shadow that can be intrusively distracting. The element of similarity (Gestalt theory of visual perception ) and the color continuity of the blue flowers in the green vegetation is astonishing. The whole blue specs are seen grouped together and they continue to the blue expanse of the horizon. There are some red flowers which stand complementary to the total green of the shot and cause a mild simultaneous contrast. These red flowers are again perceived in a group and add to the coherence of the shot.

Apart from the harmony and similarity of the elements, there are some drawbacks.

First of all is the tonal gradation of the blue sky which has caused mild banding and is a negative point there, having tainted such a perfect perspective. It may have been because of pushing the tonal enhancement and saturation envelope in PS. The next is apparent barrel distortion which has curved that straight horizon weirdly. It is surely caused by a very wide but rather imperfect lens. A litte reconstruction in PS could have put everything back right again.

The verdict is that the worst situation here is the curved horizon which is distracting a great deal, but the total response is that this image can still cut it.

I must admit that was my mistake about the barrel distortion, but it's a little tricky, isn't it? any way, the only issue which remains is the tonal gradation which is not a gripe of course. It happens when a large file is downsized to fit the PN upload requirements. A very nice image. congratulation.
