stevespencer 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Very good. Also interesting title. There is a trucking company that hauls cattle here in Pennsylvania. They have a logo on their trailers that reads, "The Last Ride." -s Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 12, 2007 Thanks for the comment. I think that trucking company has a grim but wry sense of humor. Link to comment

meoux 0 Posted April 12, 2007 I'm glad winter is over, maybe not for some places tho...I love this picture. Thank you for sharing with us David. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted April 13, 2007 I really like this photo. The way you composed it (not compost it) the eyes have nowhere else to go but to follow the boards and the sticks all the way to the back where the slightly opened door is. Great! On another note, try these two tests and see how you feel: 1) imagine cattle being led through the narrow way; 2) imagine humans being led through the narrow way. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 13, 2007 I prefer not to imagine walking this path. I'll admit that whenever I think seriously about our dealings with animals, particularly those that we consume, I think I will become a vegetarian. My biggest problem is I don't really like very many vegetables. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted April 13, 2007 I don't think it's necessary to become vegetarian; besides, there are things that our body vitally needs and cannot get from any other source, like heme iron. Do you think that you'd like vegetables more if you named them differently? You could call them beefatables, for example :-)) Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 13, 2007 They need to make a veggies that tastes like twinkies or cherry pie. Then I could be a vegetarian. Link to comment
