vancouverphotographer 1 Posted April 11, 2007 Hey Roger you did a great job here with the shapes/patterns and the tones look great. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Thanks, Dale. I like color. Not often that I see an image that I think would be better in b&w. Link to comment
richygale 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Roger, great image I love these old contrasting new images and this one is very well done. I think the B&W works very well to, infact I can't think of anyway you could improve on this. Kind Regards Rich. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 12, 2007 I like this a lot. The modern building behind a very good contrast to the front old tower where the bell is. Good choice in B/W. Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Roger, nice contrast with old and new. I like all the shades in the bricks and the sheen on the bell in B&W. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Thanks. Did'nt have high hopes for this & glad it turned out well. Link to comment
kenrick 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Roger, I found myself taking another look at this and saw something unusual that didn't quite strike me before. Look at the bricks how they are laid together interlocking with light and dark colours, and now look at the glass panes behind on the building. They are set in straight columns but the light reflection creates light and dark blocks... A haunting similarity in two very different forms. Link to comment
sarah_newton 0 Posted May 18, 2007 Well spotted! I LOVE the contrasts of the old textured stone and modern metallic and glass. Excellent perspective and perfect for B&W. Link to comment
