I love it! The blurred background, the water on the feathers, excellent exposure. So much more interesting than the run of feeder birds and captives we often see here. So were you in the water too? Was it a problem getting down to the bird's level?

Nope, I was at the riverbed, flat on my stomach with the 300 mm. A very cold day in february (-10 c) with at least 20 dippers in a smal river a few miles from my home in the middel of Norway.
