teegee 0 Posted May 10, 2007 how a simple composition with just a few elements can evoke such a strong emotional response from within is amazing. your choice of hues for this comp are excellent, and quite soothing. the linear clouds compliment the sand dunes, tightening the balance. wonderful execution, one you should enlarge and hang in a large frame... congrats! teegee Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted May 11, 2007 teegee I thank you most sincerely for your excellent critique of my work. Your words not only reveal to me but they also express the artist that you are. Best regards. Link to comment
lightworks 0 Posted June 24, 2007 I love the raw texture and strength of the landscape in this - the tones of the sand, the rock and the sky. The bird makes the images more of an art image but for me is unnecessary - the power of what you have captured is in the natural itself. Well captured. Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted June 24, 2007 Thank you very much for your very constructive critique. Actually this is exactly what an old and famous painter friend of mine said. That the symbolism ie the bird is not necessary...But the title of the picture and the bird go together...:) Link to comment
stupski 0 Posted October 1, 2007 My imagination wanders when I look at this. The silhouette of the rock resembles the back of a bear somewhat, giving it an even more unusual feel than it already has. Just excellent!!! (And is this a desert?). Link to comment
