younes 0 Posted April 10, 2007 Superb...so serene and peaceful. The rocks in the foreground put this shot over the top. Excellent work! Link to comment

ian cameron 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Hi Piotr, I have my very own mountain mirror shot, mine was in the Inverpolly reserve further north. You have a classically beautiful reflection and your careful positioning of the foreground rocks even though in near silhouette have been thoughtfully separated by your choice of viewpoint and are well contained within the unlit reflection. Odd how that little slither of cloud really works to fill a void amongst the blue of the sky even though it's reflection isn't present courtesy of the rocks. Link to comment
berenos 0 Posted April 12, 2007 A very nice picture. Positioning of the rocks in the right corner definitely helps the composition. Exposure is great too. Link to comment
regis 0 Posted April 12, 2007 Thank you very much for your opinions. I appreciate it. Ian - it's a pleasure to see one of my favourite Scottish artist under my photo. I think I remember your shot, it's really great. After your comment I checked carefully the original file for that missing reflection and ... it's not there :) Well, the larger cloud must have been reflected somewhere behind that big rock (so we can't actually see that), whereas the tiny little one didn't have so much luck :) Thank you again for your time.
