Dennis, thanks very much for your critique. Yes indeed, the photographic quality of this image is wanting as I had to shoot this image quickly against the light. I purposefully underexposed it, in order to be able to see some detail via manipulation on the computer. Very shortly afterwards the bird had gone, as birds do! Cheers, Sam.
