zigzag 0 Posted April 10, 2007 Great lead in line and highlight. The frontal space helps set it up and the hedges bound it. The sky also works well with the suppressed tones. The foreground detail is slightly distracting if you don't look past it. The effect of the lighthouse is to appear as a small focal point and not as a strong, resolute vertical - this may be your intention - it speaks of remoteness/isolation from the land. Could be good as a set where steadfastness against the sea is another image. Link to comment
tom_goetz 0 Posted April 10, 2007 To much foreground. I think if you that much foreground you needed to have the fence intersect the left edge of the frame lower. The fence leads you to the lighthouse, but it starts to deep into the image. Link to comment
marcobrivio 0 Posted April 10, 2007 ...is it perhaps the Cape Otway Lighthouse, Australia ? Great toning and good perspective. Regards, Marco Link to comment
