Maiko in Kyoto

This young woman was walking in one of the corridors of a Japanese

temple in Kyoto, Japan.

This is a very interesting shot. It could be made better with a tighter crop. Actually, since she posed for you, you could have asked her to stand in front of the post, thereby hiding it, and allowing more of the interesting background appear in front of raher that behind her. Wonder-are geishas still really in existence or is this a tourist thing?

Thanks Gregory, actually she was scorted by a tourist guide and I did not have time but only 5 minutes to take this one and of couple of shots more. Seems like I have to complete my shot in photoshop.
