cherlyn 1 Posted April 8, 2007 Not my usual style but sometimes it's just fun to explore. If you are looking for sharpness & clarity, I am afraid there isn't. A painting effect was added & graininess was increased on purpose. I think not a image that many can appreciate. All feedbacks are welcome. Thanks for visiting. Link to comment

satee 0 Posted April 9, 2007 Friend, nice composition, from the thumbnail I felt its a Cigarette but when I opened the file they are nicely done incense sticks, both emit smoke one is harmful to health and the other is used in prayer rooms. lol Link to comment

ingermargrete 0 Posted April 11, 2007 I like the effects you have used here, they work and make the image very decorative. Hope to see more of your experiments again:) Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted April 11, 2007 THIS reminds me of when I was a child and looked up to see my dad smoking and wondering WHEN the ashes were going to fall. I can almost smell the smoke now. I am not a smoker but this picture really does capture that feeling! PICTURES do not always have to have clarity and sharpness but invoke feelings and memories and this one hit that right on for me and made me stop and actually put a tear to my eyes because it hit my emotions! Thank you for doing that!! LOVE IT!! ~ Love the colors and the way you did it!! ~ ALSO if only others would explain their pictures like you did. ~ micki Link to comment
