(To answer your question, before i bought my 150mm sigma, i read a lot on internet about it, than went to the shop, and they adviced me the 150mm,they said it was better as the 105mm or the 180mm. The 180mm is also heavier, and i find my 150mm already heavy. Its one of my most favourite lenses. The glass-quality is very good. In your case, i wouldnt buy the 50mm sigma or the canon 60mm. They are not for long distance. With 150mm, you can take photo's from many subjects a little further away. If i were you, i would read about it. The tamron 90mm also seems good, but i think the sigma is better,of what i heard.Hope you can understand my english! Best regards.)
