Can a moderetor explain to me why I have received a 3 / 3 on this photo. Is the rater mistaking the lack of originaly for the bird it self or for the photo ???? Cause I dont realy think it is a "below average" in any of its composant (should I put this photo in "hyper-large format"??, those the rater even take time to view larger ??? etc..). Below average of what we see of those birds photography here on this site ? or in life ? or an average of all photo that one can see ?

 

Well if I dont have my answer I'll continue to think that since photo.net have acepted anonymos raters ... the site continue to sucks ....

 

and my participation here w'ill be from "nil" to "not existing"....

Before cliking I always ask my self what is interesting in this framing ?

 

I saw curved-lines going in toward the back ground. I framed to have a point that goes from about the midle to the background with those line.

 

I observe the bird on your left standing there agressively defending his spring territory!!

 

During that time, i cheked the bird on the top-left. He was stretching etc..

 

I let the framing to have many items in the framing (normaly my compositions are more sober). The reason is that I wanted an action photo.

 

I was cheking arround the other birds to see if one would get near my agressive m⬥ so I would have a fight.

 

I got one.... and I have other photos.... but I wont put them here cause they are to average ....

 

So that is the story just 1 h 00 of shooting.... think I'm going back ....

I already got used to somebody giving 3/3 on almost every picture except some nudes. Photo.net is very helpful but "nudes"win here. LOL...They just don't see that technically birds are naked as well.

Please do not take it to heart...The picture, in my opinion is way above average.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a prude and some of the pictures are good but the majority are way below average.

7/7 for the photo in your link... ouch the guys that took the photo had let a white thing on the ground in the background. Shure doesnt deserve a 7 lol
