A gorgeous capture, Umair. I would say A life burst out/away in smoke. Very good documentary.

disciples of Sufis wear black, refrain from animal food & remain

lost in their own world of mystery. they take long drags of local

hash [charas]. this particular pipeis called a Sulfi, filled with

tobbaco & charas, this takes the inhaler into a world beyond

ourexistance. comments/ critique/ ratings welcome.

really good shot, i like, but for some reason i would have prefered if we had only the man, the hands are distracting and i think take away some of the mystery of the smoker. giving a 5 but im still giving a 7 for originality.

well Morel, the hands r a must with this shot. these darveishes never light the pipe themselves. they hold it in both hands in a very particular manner, someone else has 2 light it for them. regards!

not at all. but there's other forms of trance in the air. the dance, never ending beat of Dhol [ desi drums ], religious music & the environment. regards!
