bleedingashes 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Beautiful colors and technically perfect, it reveals nature in all its glory, I feel very fortunate to live in this planet where one apparition like such pure beauty can balance the ugliness that the world often shows. Great capture. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 1, 2007 Great shot Kenrick! I have never seen a bird as colorful as this. Thanks for sharing. Unless I am wrong, you used fill flash and it was very effective in bringing out the colors. This is an image that I would enjoy looking at frequently. I am just wondering if there is anything small that MIGHT improve it (highly subjective): Clone away the green object on the right side and slightly burn the upper corners and maybe even the bottom corners - any burning should be very subtle. I was told by others that this would draw your eyes even more to the beautiful duck. Keep in mind that this burning is not something I do often and I try to restrict it to images that might benefit from it. Congrats and keep on imaging and don't 'mess' with this one too much because it is pretty good 'as is'. Link to comment
