The composition and color (as noted above) are striking and make this photo exciting and very nice to look at. I like the plain and big sky setting it all off. I don't do any action shots like this and I imagine they are difficult, but something does seem off to me about the technical aspects. The small boats almost look painted on and the water has a kind of heavy feel. I imagine you'll do some experimenting with exposure times, etc.

Cool ... I like the colours and composition here. I'm going to be shooting a dragonboat race this weekend.
