Well, I don't know exactly. I use a handheld flash and usually pop it twice at diferent angles while the shutter is open about 4 secs. I take a whole bunch of shots with flashing from all different combinations of angles. In the end, the one that looks best is kept. I would say each bloom is different enough that the light angles are different for each "keeper". Thanks for answering.

BTW, here's my opinion of 3 3's.. Some people just don't like certain picks, tohers might be just in a bad mood. Some might be psychotic. Who knows? The point is, ignore them, unless you get a preponderance of them. I feel sorry for someone who must 3 3 an obviously beautiful photo so rated by most others. Must be a joyless person. So, hey we're all just folks and if some of us gain pleasure from a photo-what else can we ask - except for info and help of course....
