I might play around with tighter crops, maybe taking even a little more from the left side, pushing the image more into thirds. Just a suggestion! Great work, Olli! Rachel :o) Link to comment
olli.pekonen 0 Posted April 3, 2007 Thank You for the comments! Making on-location shots got quite a bit easier with lenses you can use to knock out unwanted details from the background. I have used 85/1.2L, 135/2L and 300/2.8L, and the monster bazooka 300/2.8L is, unfortunately for its large size and weight, the winner in generating isolating effect of the (human size) subject. 85/1.2L was a love-hate relationship, the DOF was just too narrow at full aperture, making you a sloppy focuser most of the time. 135/2 is second to none if portability is the key.
