I don't usually post what I do to a photo after posting or post my favorite photos. I thought this was worth posting until I saw the download. Nothing like the file??

I don't know what pre-processing you did here but it's sure interesting, esp the sky. Definitely artistic.

I have been back to this so many times! Its a water color..... no its oil... its abstract....... no, its comic. whatever it really is, its so very interesting. Its fun, colorful, and holds so many details within the color range and vertical lines of the building vs. horizontal lines of the mountains.

Very original and innovative.

Interesting that I would be doing some of the same sort of thing about about the same time. Hope you can get this... if not, its the fish on a recent post to my blog at: koi on my blog or here koi, maybe

Dave, do you convert to sRGB before posting? That has made the world of difference to my postings, especially the brightly colored ones.

Ugh, that's what happened, I forgot to convert so it was left in RGB. Usually the files I'm going to post are converted and then go into a PN bucket. When I decided to post this one, I just pulled it from a different location and resized, forgetting it hadn't been converted.

Thanks Gary! Missi already read your mind and I'm in the process. From the ratings, people either liked it or didn't like it. In the original file, the barn is more to red with less yellow like this version.

Definitely one of those successful "oops"! I love it.....totally abstract colors and wonderfully weird stuff going on with the lines of the barn and the flowing clouds. It seems so out of character for your style of photography that it tickles me to see you experimenting, try more! The subject matter really suits the composition, this goes way beyond HDR or whatever that is. How fun, frame it up Missi and hang it on the wall to enjoy.

Thanks for all of the encouraging comments. Photography is a hobby but this is a sub hobby. When I'm bored with taking photos (or don't feel creative in that area) I work with PS creativity.

Again, thanks for your encouragement and maybe I should explore a little more intensely.
