Janis, your post-processing work here is very effective. I love the tone and the crop. The long patch of water really lets the grain of the wood show through whereas the smaller droplets add texture, balance, and visual interest. Very well done ! :)

Hi Janis - I like it alot for all the reasons whats-her-name said .... Composition, clarity and the toning are just sweet ....... In my worthless opinion (imwo) you can take it to the next level by adding another 'element' to the mix -- perhaps a leaf, a shoe .... or a possum - (-;

....or maybe even an opossum pie! sheesh.....!!

I love the simplicity here & the colours of the wood planks after pre-processing is gorgeous. Will look very good framed & hanged on the wall.

Janis, this is a fascinating 'abstract'. I like it. Liked what you have done with the toning as well. I could hang this on my wall.... if I can find the space from all the photos of my girls! Hehe.. M :)

I really like how the water is beading and yet you still see the detail of the wood. Nice Job and thanks for the comment on my cowboy hats picture.
