The most amazing part is that you caught them all three blinking at precisely the same time. Just lovely.

The three cats must have been sleeping, otherwise you would have seen their eyes.

Actually 2 cats were sleeping and the other one blinked as I shot the picture. But I am sure you saw that.

This must be the best picture in my gallery coz it received the highest ratings!

It is a lovely capture but I deduct points for your presentation - it really should have a frame or border so you get only 6/6

Peter, it is a good idea, but I have to say that a little technical skill is necessary also in this case. At the beginning, I saw only a black square, so I tried to calibrate my monitor by software, but nothing happened. So I used a harware tool by Colorvision and, finally, after a hard work, I was able to see the 3 cats. But how disappointing! Expression of cats are not spontaneous, it is self evident they are waiting for photo. Moreover there are too much objects around and too much detailed, distracting vision. Sorry Peter, this photo isn't equal your other beautiful photos. So, only 6/6.

How did you meter this? Compensation at -3?

I am not fond of this kind of "experiments". Photo.net site and forums are highly ranked photo-knowledge sources for me. Even really funny staff here, are of very good quality.

A complete blank is without any doubt one of the lowest forms of photography. The lowest rating this picture received was "3". This experiment in conclusion proves that ratings "1" and "2" no longer apply.

You sure you didn't underexpose this? And like with Schroedinger's cat, proof is necessary that the cats were even in the room.

It's sad that the rating scale is only based out of 7.

All of my subjects can testify this is my image. I have taken this exact image in on many occasions. Someone needs to report this to PN.

hey i tried to see if i could see the cats turning the photo in its negative but i only saw a Ghost drinking milk in the snow.
