I set my camera to have an image more saturated than normal (there's an option you can choose) and then underexposed (1 step maybe, but I'm not sure). I used this technique also for "The garden of Spring" (see the same folder where this image is posted). The black in the upper part is due both to underexposure both to the slope of the mountain which goes straight down. I took this photo just at dawn, so shades were still quite dark. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 5, 2007 Very nice picture. The amount of contrast in this picture is just right. I would have guessed that the upper dark corner was the edge of a lake. The color in the trees are fantastic too. Well done! Link to comment
