Unos originales efectos, que crean un estupendo abstracto, con una interesante luz y monocromo. Felicidades.

Fascinatingly beautiful! This is my first visit to your portfolio, prompted by your kind words on a photo I posted earlier today. I wanted to be sure to thank you, as I will be deleting the shot most likely. Now that we've made the acquaintance, I'll spend time to come back to your portolio in the near future...as unfortunately I'm trying to take care of some pressing responsibilities today... best regards, John

Have to ask...you stated you don't give ratings any longer. Why, if I may ask...do you not give ratings, but still receive ratings? :)

Why I do not rate anymore, but accept rates? I guess I have to accept rates, as Critique only- choice is only for paying guests. Or is it not anymore? And of course I get more visibility to my photos, when submitting to photo Critique forum...

When I came to PN I used to rate and rarely comment. But somehow my approaching to membership changed and I realized it is more valuable to share comments and opinions. One can learn more so, than only by numbers. Of course everyone decide what my opinion is worth of.

Then again I see so much wasted energy fighting "against anonymous 3/3 ratings/raters". So I only think it is more useful for all, if I instead of giving five or ten ratings, or take photos and fight against those 3/3 members, just give one opinion, one alternative estimation of one photo. I hope more people woud do that.

I can not say I am totally immune for what ratings I get. But getting bad or good ratings does not give me idea of how should I change my work, what I should do otherwise. Or giving bad/good ratings to someone else does not help that photographer...

Maybe I am too harsh/uncompromizing. Maybe I really shoud rate. See: your comment made me think of things :) Hhmm. Thank you for visiting and evoking. Take care, a s l a

P.S. It is more than year now, when I changed my course. And I feel fine ;)

Asla, thanks for the reply...and I thoroughly understand! I didn't realize that as a non-member you could not ask for critique only...good to know. I have no issue with your not giving ratings and respect your decision and agree almost entirely with your assessment of the current ratings system. Keep in touch! john
