debenc 0 Posted April 1, 2007 I like it...you have very good eye for lines in arhitecture. All your other photos from arch is really great. cheers Link to comment
glenwoodsherry 0 Posted April 2, 2007 Carlos, What an impressive image! Very dynamic, love the strong negative black design, set off by the flat toned blue and white, and all the while centered by the beautifully molded round column or pipe. Nearly perfect. I took a moment to check out your portfolio, and what an impressive body of work it is! You have an amazing eye for abstract composition, yet you approach your protraits with a great deal of sensitivity and grace. You are a remarkable talent, (despite what you say!) and I look forward to seeing more of your work. With regards, Glenwood Link to comment
maarcinn 0 Posted April 2, 2007 glad to see you back doing what you do the best ....this another architectural stunner ..I am right you are much better photographing architecture than anything else Link to comment
lauro1 0 Posted April 3, 2007 No solo es una gozada la composicion: a mi me entusiasma ese color, ese cielo tan profundo y la poca saturacion del resto... Impresionante. Link to comment
elisabetta moschetto 0 Posted April 4, 2007 I love you architecture Carlos, few lines, few colors, one great shot! Eli Link to comment
John Peri 1,027 Posted April 4, 2007 Aghh Carlo, you make it look so simple that sometimes I feel ashamed. We walk by scenes like this all the time I imagine, but how come I never compose the image to frame in my camera? The colours are perfect as is also the composition. Please tell me you spend hours and hours searching for such images and they don't just pop into view for you ... :-) Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted April 5, 2007 To all of you my friends, I'm so flattered because your encouraging comments. You're giving me an extra-dose of enthusiasm in my neverending search of new forms and meanings on each one and every thing around my personal world (it's my home). To John, sometimes I think I'm lucky, this was the second shot on the subject from the same place with different angles. (total of three). My secret? There are not secret, I'm absolutely ignorant about it, I don't know why. You know, when the image is THE photo, you can recognize it inmediately. Taken in RAW mode, to achieve this result I've adjusted the tonal curves just a little. Link to comment
panyitu 0 Posted April 6, 2007 Carlos, it's well composed and equilibrated. One of it's merits is that it is achived with few elements. I allways find it hard to rotate vertical lines without having a somewhat too bizarre result, here they are just fine. I wnated to ask you if that is part of the tour aside from the living room before I read your post. BTW I've allready bought a 25'year escoces, is the ice ready?. Link to comment
my 0 Posted April 6, 2007 Not more much to say, other than this is another example of your terrific work. So simple, so perfect and so well done.Cheers Link to comment
