best wishes and excellent capture. Artistically, I might have moved the yellow portion a bit off center (towards the left?) but still like the shot.

You know, might have to agree with Tony on off centering this. I see you are making good use of the rainy day. Are y'all in a drought?

Not in a drought any longer, Dennis. Had some decent rains the past couple of weeks. Our grass is about 18" tall right now! Loads of these white poppies, so it's giving me photo ops for flowers.

 

I was thinking this WAS off center, with the dark center part definitely over to the left of the shot. I do have loads of shots of these white poppies, so will try some different versions before I'm done.

It is off a bit, but try with the yellow in one corner and the grooves in the petals going away... Nice detail in the white...which is difficult.

I find the yellow center works well as it is because it looks as if ascending to the top. Marvellous details on the white petals.
