Tripod & cable release. Late (4-5 pm) afternoon sunlight. Converted to B&W in PS using Channel Mixer to emulate Tri-X. (R-25, G-35, B-40). Best, LM.

Greg, Always a pleasure hearing from you. I went to B&W here because I wasn't pleased with the colour rendition & I increased the contrast for a more dramatic look. Even though the area was rich in textures & tones I wasn't thrilled with the results from that shoot though the exposures & sharpness were OK. Compositionally, I just couldn't seem to make anything but the shutter click. From your lack of posts from this shoot I assume you had the same problem. Should have brought a stepladder with us for a higher viewpoint. I have a couple more I'll post as soon as I get around to scanning them. Best, LM.

Carsten, Your opinion is greatly valued of course & I agree with your crop. It's now heading in the direction of a pano but since it improves the image so be it. This is much more dramatic than the original scene due to the application of artistic license with PS. Best, LM.

Len, I join the consesus of the lower part( brings closer the interesting rest), but it is a super nice shot. I like the directions of the water that create a rich textures. The light and B/W treatment are very well partitioned. Beautiful image to be enlarged !

Pnina, Thanks for your encouragement. I can usually get 2 or 3 acceptable (to me) shots from every shoot but this one came up wanting. I still feel this shot is the best of the bunch. Best, LM.
