I don't understand the lower ratings on this one. I think this tells an emotional story, and I really like the sense of time and setting. A fraction of reduced glare on the portrait might work, but then again it might not. I think this does what a good photo should do--it makes you stop and wonder.

I think the transit between the two frames is too abrupt. Otherwise a very original idea and fine crafting.

Jean - your creativity is beyond all I saw here and on the web - outstanding - you proof that it's not the gear that you use, but the one behind the machine, which is just the brush in a painters hand. AND it could be so simple if the imagination is there. Here we all are learing about DOF , ISO, Darkroom, BUT I would like to learn to be open for imagination. Thank you for sharing. Regards Axel
