jleephoto 0 Posted March 30, 2007 Tim - great shot! I love the ambiance and the sharply focused dog and the fog and trees. Not as wild about the drool and the dog looking directly out of frame (as it leads my eyes out of the picture instead of into it). Overall, a really neat shot! Cheers ... Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted March 30, 2007 Dynamic focus and dof, I agree about the composition, the dog should be looking the other way. Link to comment
andrewcampbell 1 Posted March 30, 2007 Beautiful image. Not crazy about the drool though. Sorry. Link to comment
viamarie 0 Posted March 30, 2007 Beautifully shot...but what do you do about the drool anyway? Leave it and make it real or take it out and get a trainer to tell him to look the other way. Whatever it may be aesthetically to make it perfect, it looks amazing and job well done. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 50,314 Posted March 30, 2007 Dogs drool now & then, just like people. I may have a puddle on my pillow before it's all over. Whichever way the dog is looking is, I guess, subject to opinion. I'ts pretty tight here & if the animal were looking the other way I think it the picture would be less effective. Rules like that should be broken anyway. Sounds like something from page 2 of ABCs of photography. This is actually one of my favorites of your dog pictures. Link to comment
sjmurray 33,748 Posted March 31, 2007 Very handsome shot with colors and pose. I agree with the others, the drool detracts from it. Link to comment
