bw1664881174 0 Posted March 31, 2007 I'd crop it tigher around the pet. The photo does not need cropping but the topic you mentioned might need more pet and less person. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted March 31, 2007 Not in my opinion. For two reasons. First is the knee behind the dogs head. It just stands out too much, but that's fixable. More importantly I don't think it's "FUN" enough to really get people motivated. As an outsider, I'm not feeling a connection between her and the dog which I think is important to making people want to pay for a photo. That said, if this was a photo that was done for a client, calm the knee down a bit and I think they would be happy with it. They would have that connection with thier pet already in thier heart and they would understand this breed and how hard it is to get them to sit still for a photo. And it is a nice shot overall. Just one man's opinion, I hope it helps! -Anthony Link to comment
dmarks 0 Posted April 1, 2007 I don't agree with the crop at all.It makes her look like she's trying to squat to get in the photo. She needs room to breath.I do agree with toning down the knee a little.I think that would put the focus more on the 2 subjects here. After all the dog isn't the only subject here.Over all,I think you've been very successful with this photo. By the way,you have a beautiful wife. But you knew that. Link to comment
medina photography cherry 0 Posted April 1, 2007 Thanks Don. I agree, the knee needs to be toned down. I had it printed as a 16x20 to put in the boutique window and as I was unrolling it I thought there was a big white spot on it, so yes it definetly needs to be toned down. And thanks, my wifey is a lil beauty. Link to comment
