All elements in this image are so great and unique that even one of them would be enouch to create an interesting, original image. When i look at this shot find "material"/targets for nearly ten different images:) And you`ve somehow managed to capture them all (sky, mountains, birds, boat, man, lamp, reflections in the water..) into one shot! I don`t know when is the last time i`ve seen an image that includes as much as this one. And it`s not only about the amount of interesting elements - to my western eyes these elements are all rare beautys.

the lighting and the subject are all perfect

There is something mezmerizing about this shot. It makes you stop and analyze every aspect of it. I had to call my wife and children over to the computer to see it. It beckons to be seen........IT IS THAT POWERFUL!!

 

Afer much inspection I noticed that the skiff is not in motion (no wake). When I first saw this photo my "eye" was convinced that the skiff was moving right to left. Did anyone else experience the same thing ?

This is a beautiful picture! I love the moment with the birds. I also like the placement of the island and the mountains in the background, but i think the sky looks a little washed out... but that could be the weather. Maybe try buring it a little to make it more dramatic. Overall really great!
