Guest Guest Posted July 26, 2007 For the longest time, I was unable to view your photos due to some sort of computer glitch or something wrong on the p.net end of things. I'm glad to see this from you! Some large format work at last!! I'd really like to hear some tech details on this...like how you lighted it and did you shoot the Type 53 as rated...stuff like that. I like this shot a lot. Very bright whites, but not totally blown out. Almost high key. Her skin looks like ivory. That film really captures the detail of her tattoos, which I like as well. Very nice work! Link to comment
rob scott 0 Posted February 29, 2008 But...it's a great photo, and 4X5 makes it good too. Also, the tattoo patterns.. I wonder if this young lady is into mathematics.. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mandelbrot_Set_-_Periodicites.png Mandelbrot Set. RSC Link to comment
robiek 0 Posted February 29, 2008 Thank you all for the kind comments. Anyone sifting trough my small portfolio note that she is a recurring and persistent model over many years, and I hope, with over many years to come. I must add that as a photographer I cherish the models whom have the interest to pose annually with great patience. What a wonderful model portfolio that makes, spanning ten or twenty years...or more. And yes, cleverly noted.... the Benoit Mandelbrot Set...there are always stories, mathematics and chaos behind body art. Link to comment
