good framing. I bet you were low on V8, otherwise I wouldn't be surprised if you cranked up the dial to at least 60 :-). Cheers, Micheal

Well, we had been in the field all day, and I was cold and wet (but happy). You bet, there was no V8. Not in me, and not in this truck.

Oddly enough, this works very well. I think the red digonal color field is strong enough to hold all the disparate elements in place, with the steering wheel nicely framing the speedometer as the central focal point of the composition.

And the key is in the ignition so that verifies that the engine is running, the speed is correct and that the photographer is standing on the running board to complete the photograph. I like it!

Shawn, the key looks to be in the off position, so how can we be moving? Indeed, I was on the running board.

Yes I did notice that the key was off, but I was hoping that no one else would. I should known that another old fart would know about ignitions on old trucks...

Yeap another wonderful composition of yours...the crop works, the colors are superb, I like the red & rust..and the steering provides a very nice framing...the design and look of the odometer is super nice...Thanks for sharing David.
