Flowers in Kiev

 

Just amusing myself with my Kiev 88.

 

Feedback appreciated.

A tried and true technique/idea that you have done very well.

 

Matter of fact, I'd like to see an image based on what is on the glass. It looks very interesting.

Thanks for the comment Jim. I used a 14mm lens to capture this and then cropped it slightly. There was no film in the Kiev. (It leaks!) However, I did take a picture loosely based on what you see in the glass... (just in case someone asked!)

Nice picture. I was thinking if it's done with very shallow DOF, maybe it will be interesting as well?

Why is the image right side up? Does that lens not invert the image, or did you photoshop it?

No Photoshop. I think you will find the inversion is mirrored left to right and not top to bottom. Thanks for studying the image.

on a normal ground glass the image would be inverted, but perhaps the mirror reverses it again vertically.
